What is QMB?

QMB, Inc. is a HIPAA and ANSI compliant medical professional service company. We provide services across the country to different types of providers from primary care, family medicine, surgery, physical therapy, OB/GYN, dermatology, surgical assistants, plastic/facial surgery, sports medicine, pediatric, DME, chiropractic, internal medicine, urgent care facilities, sleep labs, etc.

QMB is owned and operated by Mary-Louise Mulcahy, a registered nurse with a MBA and a BSN. Her experience working for many insurance carriers as a consultant gives QMB a distinctive edge above the rest.

How It Works

In order to process your claims QMB needs patient information, a copy of the insurance card front and back, the encounter form/superbill (with the diagnoses and the procedures which were preformed), and a copy of the explanation of benefits along with a copy of the check from the payor (EOB). We also need a day payment log, which we provide you to keep track of the patient’s copays appropriately.
